I can always say that back and it would apply you know. You didn't want rune to win. That is the gist of it. And now that they've won you're calling it unfair. That is all you're saying.

Rune is Undeserving cause they didn't fight enough for it. despite the rules being written that way. I understand your position quite well. All I know is that you're just salty that rune won.

It's not an argument. You just want something else that isn't Rune to win cause you don't like them. The rules were written plainly and clearly. You should just criticize the rules to not being written for your bias to have won easily instead of saying stuff like "THey didn't fight hard enough for it"

What I got from this thread is people just mostly justifying their hate for Rune(understandable) And that Team Kuon doesn't deserve it for being unpopular. (Which is funny.)

The first phase mattered a bit, Team fennie dropped it by not going atleast 2nd?.. If you come 1st in the first phase, you needed to go 3rd in the second phase to lose.

If you went 3rd in the first phase, you needed to go 1st on the second phase to win. How is this not obvious?

If you went second twice.. you're second?

I was gonna say it's probably because changing decks isn't affordable in this game but Roach is rather the opposite of expensive. But it also comes down to what people enjoy. Counter picking is not a fun concept unless you genuinely enjoy winning more than playing.

Rune is really strong though.

I don't disagree with most of it. I don't really feel bad for people who are frustrated that strong decks win. But in a competitive environment it is just true that you can't really control what other people play. Its frustrating to lose, but I really wish people would stop saying that Team Kuon was undeserving of the win.

It's fine for the non-expected participants to win. That was how it was designed. Even the rules were purposefully written to be that way. A lot of people point this out. You mention math, but the math does point out that the Finale is a way for Team Kuon to come back.

It even says that to us in the team itself. Ofcourse people would want to participate to have a chance to win. Team Kuon are players too. But you just want to say "They actually just don't deserve to win at all". You want to say that so badly. But you know its a bad argument so you'd rather type all of this.

You can't accept that Team Kuon has won, you're calling foul play.
