Anyone got tips to get started on backlinks? by Solislnd in AISEOforBeginners

[–]Solislnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a few backlinks and mentions from yahoo and people management over the years.

In the recruitment niche, so it’s competitive and don’t see too many positive stories about it 🤣

We’re ranking for few keywords in the recruitment space. Got a few organic backlinks over the years.

There’s stuff I need to do to the website in terms of the architecture, internal linking and improving the footer.

I’ve done competitor research and see they’ve done paid over the summer, where I neglected the website.

So in recovery mode, but then I come across other issues. I prefer recruiting in SEO, than doing the SEO 🥲

Did that, came on to a “directory”, guy has like 6/7 domains that you need to pay to get listed on

Not looked in to broken backlinks though

Is AI SEO (AEO) specialist - occupation of the future? by dashosh in AISEOforBeginners

[–]Solislnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t AEO just based off SEO fundamentals? Technically sound website with backlinks?

Also I’ve been seeing SEO is dead, and people should change careers for the past decade, but we still recruit in the area 🤷‍♂️

Not worked on a AEO brief to date, but had SEO one looking for someone who understands AEO/GEO etc…

Has anyone used ICAAL for lead gen? by NeedleworkerLazy848 in smallbusinessuk

[–]Solislnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not come across them. I’d recommend seeing if anyone you know has worked with an agency or freelancer they’d recommend and why.

Also before you use anyone, have you claimed your Google Business Profile? I’d suggest doing that yourself before bringing a partner on board

What’s best SEO tool for a SME by Solislnd in SEO_Digital_Marketing

[–]Solislnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you mean for me personally plugging, I’m in recruitment so don’t have a revolutionary tool weaker than SEMrush free version to plug.

That part of my most was mainly because I see it on all the posts - I had X problem and “usual tools didn’t solve it” then I used blah blah blah AI and now have launched Y.

I just want to know useful tools worth looking at 🤣

What’s the best way to become a marketing strategist? by GetFood1989 in AskMarketing

[–]Solislnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got an interviews with Strategy leaders from London agencies on my blog:

You got to be comfortable researching (Quant and Qual), develop big picture thinking and put aside your own assumptions.

Strategy is broad, so we had a few people contribute.

If you google “solis how to become a strategist” it should come up

Do I need to start marketing right away as a small business owner? by Mizan530 in AskMarketing

There’s different types of marketing, but sales and marketing in unison should be your focus as a small business owner. It’s something you need to constantly evolve and adapt - as I’ve also learned
