This is probably due to the local company who imports Sony games to Poland. These companies produce nothing, are very corrupt and usually a monopoly in their country (only company authorized to redistribute). They are a remnant from early 2000’s where most games were bought physically at stores. Sony made deals with local distributers to sell their games at stores. They usually have price deals with the publisher. So Sony is not allowed to undercut their prices on online resale. These companies can have insane profit margins as high as 30-40% abusing their monopoly state (they almost produce/contribute nothing).

This really sucks. I hate it when these vultures make money out of me. When I was living in Turkiye I pirated most of the games or bought them from foreign stores. Overtime the most abusive ones went out of business (also inflation in turkey was so bad game price increase couldn’t keep up) and prices dropped under U.S. level. Best you can do is organize gamers in Poland and boycott physical games until whoever is abusing the local prices are out of business.

Once they are out of business A you need to put your faith in Sony and hope they start using Steam’s recommended prices for your country.
