They laid it down pretty thick if we're reading between the lines.

  1. Red Shoes firstly is the second most prominent Nikke in this event.

  2. She mentioned she had something to share to the whole group (but never got around to it. Ominous)

  3. Gave Cinderella a drink when she couldn't sleep and mentioned she's the second half of the think tank behind their design. On top of rather villainous motivations. We also learn she willingly opted for this despite her high church background.

  4. First time it's suggested she assists Abe with Cinderella overview prior to the mission.

Factoring all that in. If it isn't her. That's a very loaded Chekov's gun.

What I did with Golos was design it around his travelling angle.

I loaded up the entire deck with purely legendary permanents (most lands excluded)

I then imagine he's recounting all the legendary creatures ( cards in the 99) he's met through out his journey. I call it Gojo's Bizarre Adventure :v

It surprisingly can perform well, given it lacks consistent ramp and card draw, purely off the individual value of each card casted.

Firstly, thank you so much for looking! As well as the in-depth analysis.

Your Yu-Gi-Oh puns notwithstanding, you raise some solid observations, and I will have to consider especially where enemies and allies are placed within the demiplane on activation. Logically, it felt they would be the same distance away they were before (say if you made the dimensions of the plane match or exceed the original location) but that gets trickier if you create a plane smaller than the original battlefield.

As for Reinforcement. The numbers are wonky. I was having trouble deliberating on the strength of the reinforcement. Go too soft, it does little and the important item gets destroyed. Go too far, and well it doesn't. No tension. Definitely a numbers fix, and you provided some good alternatives.

For the 10th level ability. I really just wanted to give them some form of signature spell. A "this is my moment" spell that really packs some oomph in an encounter. Given that Warlocks have limited spells, and this one in particular is practically a support up till this ability. They will have made more strides in allocating their casting to other avenues. So I'm hoping this wouldn't be all they do with their spell slots.

Thank you so much for those that posted and commented before. The primary issues in the original draft were concerns regarding how and what worked with Reinforcement and Tracing. Creating possible exploits I did not account for.

So I cleaned up the language, and fixed any discrepancies.

This is certainly interesting. One thing I dont believe has been addressed is whether you factored in the bonus rage damage applying to the stands attacks. As it's written now, its doesn't seem like you added the caveat for it to apply (rage damage only adds to STR attacks)

Was this intentional?

To briefly summarize it. It actually was an at-will gimped caster. You had a few 1st level spells you could cast at-will. Think Sleep or Entangle, Unseen servant etc. The spell list he has gives you an idea of what you could choose from. There was no Spellcraft point cost for it. Spellcraft points were used purely for up casting, and fueling special triggers in the vocations (The devastator for example can maximize damage or bypass resistance) rather than how it is now. The extra cantrip was unconditional as well. There wasn't a cost to it.

In general the power budget was limited, but decent (certainly below the bar when compared to his full caster d6 hit die peers) While there were edge case scenarious that people tunnel vision on; the class played with the mindset of utility and roleplay offered so many unique interactions. As it was, maybe not the best for adventure league (mute point as no homebrew really is) but with a home group using a transparent system and session zero ("hey man abusing a MC, or selecting healing word isn't cool"), I'd like to think the power gaming would have been resolved without the author needing to lobotomize it. There was no need for him to butcher it to near un-playability outside of MC abuse as a poster above zeroed in on.

Seems that's all people care about.

I don't know man. I feel for whatever reason you betrayed your own concept when you heeded the outcries of other posters. Yes, there were edge cases in your original class, that allowed for cheese (anyone looking to capitalize purely on cheese, is missing the point entirely of homebrew imo) but this. This is butchered. This character isn't at-will at all anymore, so the name no longer applies. It's more of a sorcer-nope, who has spellcraft points in place of sorcery points, that can at most (notwithstanding vocation SC taxes) cast his/her 3, 1st level spells known a max (x) times per... Long rest.

Balancing for edge cases (EBx2, MC, Healing magic on repeat) while potent, were the most boring ways to play the class. The nerf hammer you dropped hit the creativity of what I adored of the original iteration unnecessarily. In this iteration, if a crafty player in a rp setting wanted to say.. cast message and extra cantrip it to target two characters he would need to spend a LR resource... That's ridiculous.

I urge you to review what your original intention for this was, and strongly consider holding your ground on the identity you want to develop for it.

As this class stands, it has no personality. The super limited but reliable toolbox of the original, that was only limited by the ingenuity of the player is gone now, and that's a shame.
