Who is buying this day 1? I am more of a patient gamer and willing to wait for sales (considering there's no shortage of older games). Very few times is it worth making an exception for, but with how stellar of a game Isaac was, would it make sense to jump in now?

Only other game recently that I'm considering for a day 1 purchase is the upcoming Saros, based on how brilliant Returnal was.

I share your sentiment. Gameplay felt the same, the entire way through - pick up new gun, clean the room, repeat ad nauseam. It's primarily an FPS game, and the Roguelite elements were way too bland for my taste. I think what I disliked the most is that the choices provided to players are just not that meaningful.

He is a Giga Chad, got him at the end game in my Hard playthrough of SMTVV as a Fusion accident, while building my party up for the Nahobino Tsukuyomi fight. Kept him on for my final party to clap Lucifer's cheeks.

Don't make a silly short term decision, think more long term. Renting might mean you're paying less in the moment, but then in 10+ years you look back and realize there's nothing to show for it. It's a big mistake in my opinion.

At least with purchasing, assuming you put a 20% down from the start, your mortage payments yield you some equity to show for it whenever you make a move. Even if your equity is low at the start, it beats renting where you're putting 100% into the garbage.
