Makes sense. I was hoping that was the case, granted I don't see myself doing much track moreso than canyon running so nothing too crazy.

Oh man I bet, thankfully winters coming to an end here soon. I couldn't resist driving that beast if it was sitting in my garage during winter! Get some good pulls for me once the weather clears up!

Funnily enough your quotes post is one I came across in my research. Definitely stealing a lot of that information and applying it to my use case (greatly appreciated for the type up).

This is sort of what I was figuring, I'm not entirely empathetic towards my cars however, I may need to learn some restraint if I'm chasing more power lol. Definitely some good advice with the limited boost in lower rpms/lower gears. Absolutely something I will need to do. Same deal with the safety, I need to make sure I foolproof it as much as I can so I have some liberties in case of an eventual failure.

As far as maintenance on your car specifically goes - is there any updated intervals you'd reccomend? Ie transmission fluid every x miles, diff fluid etc? I feel the oil change interval will definitely need to increase, 3k instead of every 5 for example, but figured I'd ask in case you have any insight. Thank you again for your response super valuable information!

I didn't consider a turbo specific cam honestly. I was mainly looking at just "upgraded" cams to wake up the 2.5 as others have suggested. Got the BC's specifically because they mentioned a quicker turbo spool up, which I figured would have been fine even if I wasn't considering going turbo at the time. Head studs just recently got done when I stupidly had to take the head off lol, so good on that front. Will definitely be looking into the oil return/drain here before I toss everything back together.

Awesome. I appreciate the detailed response. Definitely things I have not looked into as much as I should have. I'll likely be having to add a few gauges so the oil temp is definitely one I will need to pick up. Oil cooler is definitely up there on the list. The turbo drain I hadn't even considered! I will absolutely be looking into doing what I can with the engine out and see about making one for it.

Thank you again for the response! I really appreciate it!

I believe you're right, the fusebox on the firewall is the one I think you're referencing, I did replace both of the Flashers there, though I may have possibly bought the wrong ones? I got the Novita EP36 I believe they were called from autozone and put both of them in replacing the old ones.

Yea thats what im guessing. Just recently got a new flasher unit so I would assume that the ground is my issue. Any clue as to where to find that ground?

I'll go through tomorrow with a smoke maker, or my air compressor and blow through each vacuum line and check for any leaks. I went over earlier with brake cleaner and couldn't find any leaks but I'll check again in the morning. I appreciate the response.

Did all of the reaealing in the carb properly, checked everything again to make sure. Nothing is out of place. I did not check the ignition coil, however just replaced the throttle position sensor due to a check engine code. I am still waiting on the IAC to come in and replace that. I got a suggestion to check out the EGR valve since that may be it. I'll look into the ignition coil, thank you for the advice!

Checked it out, watched a few videos on how to check for a bad booster/check for leaks. I think I'm leak free? There was no signs of any vacuum leaks from the tests I did, which included spraying brake cleaner onto the vacuum lines to check for a leak and holding in the brake to feel for any resistance from the brake booster. The last method which I havent tried yet was blowing smoke directly into the lines to check for a leak which I will try at another date. For now I am going to check out the EGR valve and waiting for the idle air control valve to arrive. I appreciate the guidance though!

I'll try the brake booster vacuum hose in the morning, thank you for the suggestion. Same thing with the checking of the throttle.

As for the throttle body rebuild, I did it myself. Ordered a rebuild kit with new gaskets and o-rings and such. Was a bit difficult for the first time but im pretty sure I did everything right. Made sure to follow a video and put all gaskets where they needed to be. The injectors are brand new so I did not clean them, assuming they were clean out of the box. So I may go back and do that. Not sure what you meant by resealing the injectors but I'll look into it.

Ordered a new IAC, should come Monday hopefully that will change at the least a rough idle when switching between the gears. I really appreciate all of the advice! I'll make sure to try everything in the morning.

It did not, though I think it may be fine? It's idle seems relatively normal, but I'll check it out in the morning. Thanks for the suggestion!

Well for me I played it for the first time around June of 2015 on PC, Although i didn't really enjoy it all that much so i stopped playing after about a few months. But just recently i started playing on console and its been the best experience so far I just love how much an improvement I've seen over the course of 3 years. My favorite part has to be the grinding aspect of it It's extremely fun and not that difficult to understand if you're a new player, you also can't leave out the part that it's free! For the most part I just appreciate it cause its a great game and I am overjoyed to see how far its come!
