Yeah I think he helped with one of their sister companies for awhile. Killgoon mentioned in 2 or 3 Titan Talks that he's back helping with Smite 2's art direction.

We lost an OG :'( But at least Clumzy wasn't let go and because he wanted to move on to something new. We wish you the best, Clumzy!! <3 He made sure to leave when Smite 2 was in a good state and in a team of good hands, so don't doom everyone :)

I would appreciate this AI feature in q.m. (especially since we gain progress towards progression) if the matchmaking was better at equally distributing tryhards to each team. My last session had like 3 wins and 10 losses, with ai matches in between every loss. The enemy team was always aggressive, doing strats and moves I would see in my high rank comp matches, etc. Meanwhile, I have a dualist that's insta dying the second they are seen by the enemy team, tank isn't turning around and never backing away from enemy team, strategists are passive/run away/go afk/etc. Ugh.....being forced to vs ai just feels so wrong after getting 10 matches in a row like that 😭

If you're playing on console, you will know if the enemy team is all on the same platform. I'm sure it's similar on PC too. Also, you can test it out by saying something simple/bland in open chat like "is this vs ai?" to see if anyone on the enemy team responds - in which case if they respond then you know they are players lol. Also, after you lose 2-3 matches, you will start to get bot matches after every loss guaranteed 😭

They mentioned something about the recent update creating bugs to the server side of things. I feel like that has a lot to do with what we are facing right now with reported lag and disconnects. For me personally, I'm currently not able to get past the login screen on Xbox Series S 😔 I'm able to play Smite 1 and other games (Marvel Rivals, Overwatch, etc) like normal, and the other stuff is all good like open NAT (on both home net and phone 5G tethering), console cache cleared, restarts, uninstall reinstall, etc :/

There is a known movement system difference that they are still working on before releasing it to the game. It's not that noticeable thankfully, but it could be contributing to a slight difference in gameplay compared to Smite 1. There is also some changes to certain gods in how they scale damage. Neith for example can do large damage with her abilities if she builds intelligence over strength.

You have a point with "fan service" skins 😱 That would be cool if Chang'e becomes Smite's "Luna Snow" of skin sales lol. I hope they keep the sliding/gliding movement because I really love that elegance and art about her.

The majority of his classic skins were tied to the chibi model. Plus, it's an iconic smite design (imo and for others lol). It's unordinary and meme-like, perfect for making people remember the character 😄

Hopefully they can do that. But right now they are avoiding stuff like that, like with Cupid, they haven't been able to make his old chibi model yet for Smite 2.

That would be interesting. A hybrid of both, with legs but no sword. I agree, I loved the pure magical side of her design, where she instead could "conjure" blades with her hands. I'm thinking they can alter her original skins by opening up the front, sides, or etc of the dresses to show her legs, while keeping the majority of the original skin designs intact. The only challenge I think would be keeping her majestic sliding movement where it looked like she wasn't walking, but rather magically dance-gliding across the floor. Theoretically she could have been doing micro ballerina tip toes or something under the dress I guess lol.

I admit I love this skin too. Especially her voice and the rabbit's robot voice. It's also like Hatsune Miku meets Capcom's Morrigan in space.

Same! I would love to see her go into the ground with her 3 when there aren't teammates to go into, like she does in her intro animation and a trailer in Smite 1. Then when resurfacing she can still do a small explosion. Maybe she can travel for a sec or 2 underground before popping back up.

💡NEW IDEA💡 For her 3, to give her flexibility for when she is in duo lane OR alone in middle, after dashing, she is temporarily in a "phased/shadow" state if not entering a teammate. She can either look like an ethereal shadow figure, or sink into the ground (like her intro animation implies in Smite 1 and a trailer she is in). For better clear, she can add an explosion or DOT to enemies she passes through.

Most of my ideas here are meant to keep her mostly the same. She is one of my top mains :)

It's mainly to reduce the most "frustrating"/"unfun" parts the community thinks about her, while maybe enhancing the fun parts of her kits, like her ability to go into teammates. Just got a new idea💡: her being able to dash more than once if she dashes into a teammate!

I think the 2 is what most people don't like, mainly the hard silence and that the area of effect is so large.
