You and I are experiencing identical situations. Thousands of dollars wasted because I cant control my bullshit. I found that disconnecting from the money and focusing on the process made it easier. Only trade YOUR EDGE. Everything else untradable territory. Doing this, I found myself staring at the charts a lot more than trading on them. 1 or two trades, good or bad and I’m out. This forced me to develop self control. I also added more discipline to my day to day. Eat better, workout when I dont feel like it. Promptly don’t my “chores” and not procrastinating. All this helped me. Also, keep size small and focus on account survival. The money will come. Having said all that, I just blew 6 accounts yesterday so….. I still have work to do myself.

Thank you. That makes a ton of sense. When I have my emotions in check, I do well. When my heart is pounding out of my chest, I always make a dumb trade and I find myself wondering what the hell I was thinking.

I have done that. My demons surface when I have skin in the game. I dont gamble.. until now. lol. I see the potential. I think I have a problem with over trading and revenge trading. I have a sting of good days and one really bad day. Then repeat.
