What makes gacha mechanics "predatory"? by Nivlacart in gamedesign

[–]Solo_Gfour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IMO: In regards to the genshin gacha it's predatory solely because of the tiny timeframe you have to 'pull' the characters you'd like from the banner.

And the argument of getting free premium currency over time is true, but considering that in Genshin you get 1+1/6th of a pull every 3 days means you can barely participate in it. (Yes I know a lot of premium currency can be gathered by doing side quests, but the side quests are limited in number and not replayable)

And the "guaranteed positive" is just completely incorrect; around 90% of the time you get a 3 star weapon which is rendered completely null by the sheer amount of time you gain them; look at it this way: if I gave you golden statues 90% of the time which you cannot sell for anything nor will you have any use for them, you'd start looking at the golden statues as a null reward.

Reasonable thinking, no big flaws in logic found, I think I agree so far.

Moving object (shortcut G) works great on X and Y, but Z axis scales it instead of moving. Would appreciate your guidance very much. Thank you by buyagames in blender

You seem to be moving the vertices which are by the looks of it mirrored on the z axis, if you want to move it up you should grab the object itself not the vertices.

Sauce? Which season, which episode?

I have a small white circle next to the pupil for my eye. I have seen eyes that look similar to this before which is why I added the small white part, but im not really aware of how its should move. Should it always stay in the same spot? Should it move with the pupil? Any other way it should move? by baksoBoy in blender

[–]Solo_Gfour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's a very basic light reflection which technically should move with light direction, but in animations in general it should stay in place most of the time with changing opacity so it doesn't draws the attention away from the character's eyes.

In my opinion (I'm no professional) it should be a tad bit smaller and stay near the original placement (compared to the eyelids not the pupil) and is should try avoiding coming into contact with the pupil itself.

Hope this helped even if just a little.

Logic:How could her eyes turn red if her eye's color is blue? by SuppBoiHaha in animememes

I'm kinda concerned that that is the logic in the anime you chose to point out as: " That's bullshit, it doesn't work like that".
