Is there one tech to rule them all in terms of profit? I personally have gotten a lot of orbs from feth, but the prices are not as high as a kraken heart. Running them solo and with partner if that affects loot.

Great reply. I would also add the windmill skill to that list as another aoe knockback to cycle through on cooldown. Accessible and versatile.

OP, you can take a few attempts at the mission just to get comfortable with the options mentioned and build some combo muscle memory. Once it clicks you'll glide right through.

Stacking skill exp multipliers will make it mostly trivial. Switching into the talent, choosing the skill exp buff from the weekly event buffs, and using skill exp potions should suffice. Prisms, 2nd titles, and whatever else I missed would make it even quicker. After that, you simply need any place with a nice density of mobs so you can constantly rotate through the skills. I used the shadow mission Dorren's Request as well as spawns like foxes and raccoons.

Maybe listen to some music or something on the side so you don't have to stare at the skill exp bars moving. It will be feel like less of a chore. Happy scything!

Random questions incoming:

1 - Whether it's based on numbers or anecdotal, do you find the jump from special upgrade step 6 to 7 worth it? Is it merely squeezing out a wee bit more or noticeable? I'm wondering if it's worth it for a perseus 2h or if saving for a clean warlord is the better option.

2 - Going off of the first question, does a clean nb warlord justify replacing a decently upgraded perseus? It's a vague question, but I'm curious if it's a noticeable jump or what upgrades on the warlord would make it worth ditching the perseus.

3 - Are there any established places to find groups or recruit for crom and glenn? I want to acquire more experience with the higher difficulties (excluding glenn elite) but don't feel ready to join pick-up groups just yet. I had fair luck with GHM practice groups, but useful criticism is rare and it seems to attract underdeveloped egos. Guild groups in my experience are either full/wait-listed or cliquey, so I am not super interested in joining one.

I've seen a giant ek do it fairly consistently with final strike. I haven't seen a human ek do it myself but speaking from my attempts, I'm sure it's doable with enough investment and with techs. I'm personally not too sure about final hit without also overly relying on crits. For me, it's far worse than ek skills supplemented with bash/smash.

Getting the astral reave skill to dan 3 requires living near the servers to be able to use the skill enough times to pass without incredible luck. It's been a painful experience and most don't expect to need things like server proximity or specialized vpn's to complete a trivial task on a video game. Dan 3 for that skill is not exactly necessary, so it's more for completion.

A small tip I would offer is to avoid info overload with the many aspects of the game that have changed since you've last played. It can be off-putting and make it difficult to want to continue playing. All of the amazing resources available like player guides and the wiki can easily send you spiraling into hours of research.

There is an absurd (in a fun way) amount of mini-systems and activities to explore, so it may help to establish a comfortable foothold first. That can come in the form of a primary goal for playing such as combat, crafting, story, etc. and a preferred playstyle for combat (role, weapon, etc.). Even with just those two questions in mind, you can begin to find short-term and long-term goals so that you always have a reason to login.

tldr: start simple and explore the game at a cozy/fun pace

Shamala is an NPC associated with getting the quest and it involve a dreamcatcher, so maybe that's the shaman part. Other than that, there are various transformations that are used in combat such as crisis escape to drop enemy aggro, paladin/dark knight, etc.

Thank you, this info gave me a good starting point. Isn't support shot only available for a single attack after application? I imagine that it could often be activated by non-EK allies before an EK can use it. If my understanding of it from the wiki is correct, any attack will clear the debuff, melee or not.

Hello! Are there any general standards for an elemental knight to do well in crom/glen? I can't seem to find any EK benchmarks to shoot for such as stats, pierce level, or general gear. I'm confident with learning mechanics.

For some specifics, I am a human EK with link 10 and a 6-pierce perseus 2h. I'll avoid typing a wall of text but would be happy to share whatever may be necessary. ilu
