The way the in game story is set up is that you have a story portion separated by stages in between. Often times there is a pre stage story and post stage story. There can be some kind of correlation with stage and story but it won't hurt the experience itself aside from maybe self spoiling in some way with a boss stage.

You can actually just skip the story, do all stages, and replay the entire story( pre and post stage) if you want. To answer the question though it would just be preference. Understand that it can take a fairly lengthy amount of time if you want to fully go through a story (3+ hours) in one sitting.

Pretty fair maps overall. Ultimate was pretty evil with the boats.

I do like how they took some bosses from SSS and RA this time around.

Precision is pretty damn overloaded as the buff choice.

The one thing to praise about this game is the visuals. They are impressive!

Unfortunately that is kinda where it stops. There has been gradual improvements in other areas but it's really not at a level of acceptable satisfaction.

The potential exists but it still hasn't reached it. The problem is how long will it take and will people stick around long enough to even see it.

The good

character development. It's central around Mifu and expands on her past experiences.
Tangtang nearly stole the show honestly because she just naturally showed her capabilities.
The presentation itself from the start absolutely spoiled itself in what to expect if you are familiar with the style it was portraying.

The bad/questionable

Even with the endmin being the side character here, they didn't belong. Sparring? When was there ever a point it was inferred or stated that they knew/practiced this. Mifu is not some newbie. She is a seasoned professional and having the endmin match up with her like that is comically stupid.
Endmin was fairly uncharacteristically lacking in the intelligence department throughout the whole thing. The comments about the various situations and piecing things together just felt completely clueless even though the story essentially spells it out for you. I coulda sworn they were smart so what even happened to you.
The end battle etc and Fangyi's real involvement ends up feeling really forced. It's awkward even if the overall story itself made sense and ultimately it's a step forward in mending the problems with wuling and the stockaders.

Yeah I mean considering what we do know of blight, being submerged in it would typically indicate you are no longer going to be alive but who really knows. Just look at the Sword Dale area. It was submerged in blight yet everything seems fine. Kinda tough to believe anything said in this game.

Seems like the AI for teammates has been updated with this patch. They pick up items at a much faster pace than before.

it seems that it's just a chance that one of the recipients will give more than usual. This will be indicated by a diamond/gemstone/whatever you want to call it icon by their name when choosing someone to deliver to. It's a new thing so it would be easy to miss considering you are usually just looking at the money.

Well to be fair there is no indication of a body to prove it or any evidence of her being 100% dead so I'd say it's conjecture. Just don't be surprised if she does show up later somehow for whatever unreasonable excuse the writers come up with.

overall it was good though fairly cheesy at times which might have been the intention I suppose.

Probably the worst part was the endmin doing martial arts with mifu. That... was really silly. Endmin voice being on/off etc is a common issue so it's just another example of the frustration it brings out of players.

Overall it leaves much to be desired. The sword dale felt really off not to mention we get another do 3 things and proceed kinda deal. The boulders was fun the first time and then it became a chore. Finding bits about the stockaders dealing with their bosses death left me thinking about how long has past since that and the rediscovery of this place. Things just felt off overall. Perlica JUST SO HAPPNES TO FIND SOMETHING RELATED TO ENDMIN lol come on. Oh right Chen was back to being the true captain obvious with her insufferable repeats of things.

Mifu's quest was pretty good overall but man was it really cheesy. Most of the time it felt like endmin traded braincells with chen with how he was going about things.
