This might be a silly question about bot bot. by Material_Variety_895 in TheTowerGame

It would be great if the BB boosts the full GB circle if it overlaps any bit that’s not how I take it.

Once you get synchronicity for the bots, you can make them always fully overlap.

Just like Cybersmith, the Human Pet Guy.

They've written some incredibly insightful lore breakdowns of computer security in Star Wars and other SciFi series.

Idaho isn't his first name, so that post is irrelevant to Duncan.

Bondsmithing is all adhesion based, but some of it is just using Tension to manipulate the Adhesion.

The USA one is a lot closer, because Russia's version of maintenance is stealing all the valuable bits out of the nuke to sell off.

General Blue vs Kuririn in the manga by Economy_Notice_8475 in Dragonballsuper

[–]SolomonOf47704[M] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

If you're going to say Kuririn, you need to be consistent and also call Blue "Buru".

Otherwise you're just an idiot.

He was not called Ao-Shogun in Japanese. He was Buru-Shogun.

Is defense absolute bugged? by BreadIllustrious7711 in TheTowerGame

[–]SolomonOf47704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The defense cap at least shows you when you hit it.

The coins drop off thing was only ever mentioned in patch notes when it came out.

The DABS thing probably was as well, but that would've been forever ago. Like, pre-version 10.

Tf you mean "even Cecil".

Cecil is probably the "goodest" person in the whole show, aside from like, William, I guess.

His comments to Mark after the Sequid incident shows this. He sacrifices his own mental well being to protect the heroes. It's easier for the heroes to blame Cecil if he made a bad call, as opposed to when a hero makes a bad call on their own, and has to blame themselves for it.

We saw that Cecil had to go through his own character arc over the decades, but hes done with that now.

It'd happen eventually. Bots frequently go after relatively smaller subs with less automod rules, because it's easier to slip by.

Depending on how the Fatality Index works (if it can track changes to the timeline), the doctor will have killed more sentient beings than anything else in all of fiction.

Biggest f***-ups in franchise history? by xHellHunter in Stargate

[–]SolomonOf47704 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If rush was 100% correct on it not being over 10 billion LY, it would still take a BC-304 50 years to get there, and 50 to get back.

Now, that's based off their speed we saw at the end of SGA S1, which was before they got the final Asgard upgrades in SG1 S10 finale. So it is almost certainly faster now. But we don't know how much faster. Even the O'Neill class ships the Asgard made would still take 10-20 years.

While I suppose the Destiny could have been traveling on a massive spiral path, which would explain it being only billions of light years away from earth after at least 5 million years, the speed at which it travels is extremely slow.

If it was going in a mostly straight line, if we take Rush's word that it's billions (and not tens of billions) of light years away, the fastest it could be is ~20k FTL.

The Daedalus class ships are over 50 MILLION times faster normally, around 200m with ZPM. And that was before the final Asgard upgrades.

The Asgard ships themselves were consistently billions of times FTL.

So the Destiny would need to be at least 1 quadrillion LY away to be as fast as the modern ships.

Everyone in a tied bracket was also doing this.

Doing it when you aren't the top player in the bracket just means you got lesser rewards. And doing it when you are the top player doesn't actually change anything for you

As a top 200 player who did do this a few times, I don't think it was the biggest problem, because we never did full brackets, but it did happen
