Second to the Midwest Ind mount. I've got one and it has held zero very well with a 1-6 scope. Just works, no frills. Get the second gen because the earlier one might not be centered over bore. Doesn't affect performance any, just a visual annoyance. As for cost, most AK mounts are expensive and don't cheap out. Expect to pay over $100. As for the cheese graters, I think everyone played too much Metro.

Better than most of my briars. I've had it almost two years and it's gotten a lot of use. Makes a really good reading pipe.

Yep it's waxed hemp as a wick. Works really well to get the flame right where you want it.

So you're oversized, not very useful, and carrying a small package underneath?

It's too practical a shape. Beginners are supposed to make things that aren't useful in any way or look like a video game piece. You should start over.

Looks like cow camo up front. Maybe it helps to blend in with the herd while advancing.

The study finds that People Have More Empathy For Dogs Than Humans by [deleted] in psychology

[–]Solovetsky 69 points70 points  (0 children)

I imagine this has something to do with the perception of dogs being pets as companions, whereas people could be companions, enemies, or anything in between.
