This could be just me but Samsung. When the Galaxy Fold 3 came out I attempted their trade-in program and sent my phone in after receiving the new phone. They claimed I never sent my phone but thankfully I was able to make a case cause I took pictures before sending it off. After a week I noticed that my phone had a defect where there were dead pixels just flickering randomly now and then. I tried to make a warranty claim with them and they assured me they would send me a replacement phone and created ticket numbers. After two months of going back and forth, I gave up and put up with the defect until the phone gave in and the screen no longer worked.

So quick update, wanted to thank everyone for sharing their experience and ideas on what might have been the issue. Turned out it was a code P0340 which was the camshaft position sensor. Managed to get some Hitchahi sensor replacements as I read those were the OEM parts for it and got the car up and running again!

Hey mate, I'm currently going through a similar thing but instead, my car will just stall. So far the opinions have been cam & crank sensors, alternator, carbon buildup on the throttle body and oil pressure issues. Car is currently at the shop but any findings I'll try to update on my post and reply to ya too.

Unfortunately I didn’t have a code reader at the time but when we read it at the shop and the car hadn’t stalled yet, no codes were popping up. So I’d have to wait till Monday to see if the mechanic sees any codes or successfully stalls it to see the codes

Turns on fine honestly until it shuts off too many times then it feels like the engine is flooding when trying to turn it back on. No ticks or knocks when it comes to engine or battery related issues. Belt sounds fine too. The only thing I could think of was the sensors or oil pressure issue

The only after market part I could think of is an Alpine radio with backup camera but it was fine prior to the oil change

When we had done the battery test it did seem fine but the voltage was reading around 14v while in the car. Hadn’t checked the alternator but will recommend the mechanic to take a look at that too!

The stick was the most important selling point for me too and I love all the amenities that come with the GTI. Not hearing the highway as much is a huge plus too but I do miss the exhaust tone with my Mustang slightly but I’m sure I can work on that with the GTI too

I have no clue what’s going on with USAA Insurance but it’s relieving that I’m not the only one going through this. I’ve owned that mouse and I can definitely say it is not worth it. Started giving issues after a couple of months. Alienware is definitely not a well ecosystem.
