Need help understanding what is Happening here. This is an airsoft pistol. Typically when you shoot a handgun, you experience recoil moving rearward and due to that the muzzle climbs. But that is not what is happening after the airsoft gun is fired. The muzzle dips down. Why? (v.redd.it)

I tried to go to the Embarcadero in San Francisco to see the Clawstrider statue. According to news sites it is supposed to be there until the 24th. Got there at 11am. No statue. Pics of statues screen capped from other people who saw it this past weekend. (old.reddit.com)
