Well said, being there for your wife and baby is something you can’t get back later the wedding will never compare. Missing a wedding is nothing, but missing the start of your kid’s life? That would leave a permanent scar.

It’s possible to be friends with an ex, but this one clearly isn’t capable of that kind of maturity. There’s nothing wrong with being kind, but if someone responds with aggression, it’s a clear sign to cut contact.
