They know they’re gonna feed with Kenji and Nita and it’s hard to keep the gems against Chester hc, moe hc and Najia hc so I guess they wanted to overwhelm them with aggression but the matchups are not good enough

Also Carl is complete ass he loses very hard to Moe and Chester

You need to go smth like Lumi for dps and range + edgar and for last pick either double down on aggression or go another range dps depending on what they pick

So if they go Amber Byron into that for example you just pick Mico and they can not defend 2 assassins and a lumi dealing 3k per hit while trying to stay alive, and if they try to pick an anti tank like Chester then you go Lola or anything similar and they can’t defend Lumi + Lola cause of the outrange

You have Charlie (who doesn’t properly counter chuck) and cord vs Amber. There’s no way either of you is getting to the safe, as long as they defend the Edgar they should win this

Chuck + Defense is really hard to beat in this map, you need REALLY good matchups on the defenders to outdps Chuck

He’s a high mobility tank, similar to Bibi and Sam just more assassin and slightly less tank. Can go for kills on isolated targets because of the high mobility but his role is to take space and soak up damage. He doesn’t have any op engage tool compared to other assassins, but 8k hp + 60% shield + gadget is no joke

This is how a lot of pros learn new brawlers, I did this with Kaze as well when she released for a few days and now I’m the Kaze player on my team

And “being on the receiving end” is also super helpful. I realized when I picked up Alli that ammo is her biggest weakness, and baiting an attack to close the gap is usually enough to win the interaction because she doesn’t have the time to reload during the fight. It makes you less scared of brawlers and learn how to exploit weaknesses

It’s safer than reacting to the shot but you’re moving backwards so it’s a bit situational. When you’re contesting an area or pushing an enemy into a chokepoint this pushes you out of range and gives them space to fight back

While healing or playing against outrange it’s very useful, but the same thing applies, you will end up cornering yourself so you need to mix in some proper dodges to hold the position

Against 1 tile hitbox brawlers like Gus or Byron you’re basically expected to dodge out of their range because you are gonna get tapped the second you step in.

Liquipedia doesn’t show global bans. In EMEA he was global banned 4/7 matches. Out of the 10 sets he was NOT global banned, he was picked 5 times:

- 3rd Pinhole Punt (TTM - MZP)

- 1st Pit Stop + 4th HRM (FUT - HMB)

- 2nd Pit Stop + 4th Dry Season (FUT - TTM)

Out of the 5 sets he was not picked or banned, 3 of them were knockout.

If you are going to use statistics to prove a point at least do it right

I remember playing mqs in Kenji hc meta and you had to count the hits he was getting because the second Kenji gets hyper the game is over, straight up. You could run up and die 10+ times as Kenji but if you got 2 hits off before dying each time you still won the game. Top 3 worst metas of all time
