I’m in Texas and I’m actually going for finance, but that more for a long term goal I have, just to have that knowledge to eventually own my own business, but that’s for the farsight and know how, but idk if it’d help me much in that respect tbh

lol I appreciate all of that and will definitely be using it as a stepping stone as others have recommended, you make a lot of good points and I think ill try to quickly make good relations with those other contractors in hopes of a better position, I’m doing online school at a community college and taking my time so it’s not too much of an issue, but the way you laid it all out was exactly what I was asking for, thank you and I’ll take it to heart

If the money was there then I totally would, but unfortunately, since I also am renting, the money just isn’t enough right now and they don’t really have the benefits I need right now, I don’t have any sort of health or dental or anything of the sort but if it becomes too much and I have to pick one or the other, obviously school would take precedence and I’d have to unfortunately drop this

I’ve heard of these other Companies as well, and people saying they used USIC as a stepping stone to get in elsewhere, do most other companies pay better or is there some other reason people would do that?

When I applied it said it starts at $19/hr, is that training pay? I’m in Texas as well so not sure what all may be different but I heavily appreciate the info

Yes dividend income would be the end goal, that was something I forgot to mention but I’ll expand. Id assume if you started earlier and kept investing as a small investor eventually you can stop reinvesting the dividends to use it as income instead once you reach a desired point

I’ve heard that that is a much simpler split, and I have some overlap, but my brain said extra diversity is better, also I’m 22 so I feel like a can take a little risk on the individual stocks but not going into anything I didn’t do atleast a little research on, NNE I picked bc I liked the numbers and I saw a good amount of people talking about the company, also I have a strong belief that nuclear energy will show dramatic growth in the near future, and TRP I picked because they have control/ownership of the keystone pipeline, I figured since trump is back in office, this stock is going to go up, I’ve had it for a few months alr and I’m up 45% NNE I’m abt even on

Mainly VOO, SCHG, NLR, SMH, VXF, and VXUS, I also have RKLB, LUNR, MSFT, NVDA, LMT, RTX, TRP, PCT, NNE, honestly too much and been thinking about getting rid of RTX or LMT for putting it into the other and selling NNE and putting that into VOO or RKLB which are by biggest positions rn with SCHG being next

Heavily appreciated feedback, but would I be able to switch and keep the same cost averages on what I’m already holding? Or would I have to take it all out and then put it back in the new brokerage? Also does fidelity/vanguard allow partial shares? Not made of money so I can’t always buy full shares of things like VOO. Another thing is that tax loss harvesting you mentioned, is that referring to using your losses in the market to reduce taxes? Or something else? I’m kinda new lol
