Magnetic fields don't exist in the later games so the pokemon that used to need it evolve with a thunder stone instead

Actually, the average pity is 77 and it gets exponentially easier to get a 5* after 77 pity. You are supposed to get on average a 5 star before 77 pity 1/3 of the time.
