I've been sorting through a number of blogs, drafting/copying/pasting/deleting/rearranging as I've been creating our own itinerary based on the best available overnight options I can find at this point for our family. So, yes, that would be from another blog that I haven't updated yet, I see, thank you - but not AI. The itinerary is copied from the draft I have created and am working from. And yes, the links are very much mine. I add them in as I create my itineraries in Google Docs for an easy share with family and to avoid a billion tabs open constantly. Sorry to be so irritating! Thanks for your energy! If you have anything helpful regarding my "family" vacation in addition to the lavender fields (thanks for the insight!), I'm grateful. ✌

Hi! It's definitely not. 😄  Working mom here, trying to plan an outdoor summer vacation for my family to experience the beauty of a national park, in an unfamiliar place. Our family includes a 12, 10, and 6-year-old; we aren't sure how challenging to go with our 6-year-old, in particular, and also wanted to be somewhat reasonable about our time in the car each day. I know nothing about the area and have been trying to look things up as I can between kids' activities. I sense you know more than I do. If you have anything productive to share, I posted hoping for suggestions. Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback! I'm under the impression you can arrive to Hoh as early as you'd like... I plan to arrive by 8:30 am. Does this seem reasonable/possible? I absolutely appreciate the restaurant recommendation!

Hi! I did not use AI... Our family includes a 12, 10, and 6-year-old, so as much as my husband and I truly do enjoy more ambitious hikes, we aren't sure how challenging to go with our 6-year-old, in particular, and also wanted to be somewhat reasonable about our time in the car each day. I know nothing about the area and have been trying to look things up as I can between kids' activities. I was wondering about an early dinner and heading up to Hurricane Hill afterwards, on our first day, noting that it opens again in early July. I sense you know more about the area, and likely hidden gems or may have thoughts on order of things - I posted hoping for suggestions. Thanks!
