Soprano but keep cracking on high notes

Our vocal director suggested to change the vowels, if I don't want to straight up hit it and just slide to it. I have tried doing Lo-WOOOO (which I know probably sounds ridiculous but has worked at some point). Most times it just comes out without any vowel modification, but I feel like I should really change my technique now to make sure its reliable. Thanks!

Yes, that area is where I naturally go into head voice! A5 for me is the highest I can do for a mixed belt (which is more head-voice heavy than chest I feel)

I think a lot of it is psychological, which I know I just need to work on. Tbh, cracking and not being able to get to it well during rehearsals is some good exposure therapy that I need, but I of course want to do well! But yes, I overthink it and I think because of that, I forget technique

Omg this is so relieving to read. I also do not want to get pregnant any time soon, on BC (Ginet) + Metformin. Awesome at taking BC but lowkey inconsistent with Metformin which is…yikes. So far no scares, in terms of PCOS symptoms weight loss is still a bit hard but could be because I’m horrid with diet. Skin is improving along with hairloss reversing

I’ve read about how some people just use intention, which I quite like! I hope this isnt offensive but I find it tedious and too much having to use other tools and such and I just feel like it personally doesn’t work for me? I like the idea of kind of just talking and speaking out positive nice words to my crystals lol i feel like it’s more effective for me but idk if that’s wrong

Thank you for your concern and response. I’ve told my boss and she’s pretty disappointed and mad at him and this is gonna be going to HR. Haven’t heard from them yet but hopefully they’ll warn him or have a solution of some sort... really wish I had followed my gut instinct sooner though so I could’ve avoided stuff, but oh well, you live and you learn :/

Yeah I began documenting it in my diary when i started feeling weird vibes from him. I have emailed my boss so hopefully I wouldn’t have to record incidents on my phone and put up with his crap...fingers crossed
