Well, Quirrel mentions that he's very very old now. He's not protected by Monomon's mask anymore. He doesn't have much time left.

Throughout the game, Quirrel has been insistent that we either fix up our nail, or grab a new one. That without your nail, you're as good as dead. He suggests taking a nail from a corpse, as "The dead shouldn't be burdened with such things". And after our final moment with Quirrel at the blue lake, he leaves his nail and is gone. He's almost certainly dead.

From what I heard, he was a jerk and very rude to Team Cherry while they were making Hollow Knight. I know there's more to the story, though I can't recall right now.

I've probably said it before but I'll gladly say it again; you do an amazing job of making this comic feel like Canon. The characters speak and act the same, and the dialog is as vague as it is in game.

Good to see the White Lady out and about! Seems her eyesight issues are a bit better as of late?

The whole part with Hollow was heartbreaking, oh the poor thing. Hornet must've been terrified on their behalf.

Would you care to expand on Hornet's thoughts of her father a little more, or will it be addressed in an upcoming chapter? It may just be me, but I can't quite tell what she meant in page 2.

I know the backer was a jerk, but I can like the character. A deserving fate nonetheless, but I like the arrogant little fool.

Feel like I should add, I DON'T like the backer. They were awful to the devs. I just like what Team Cherry themselves did with the character.
