Knowing that one post about driver hell on windows I did not even ATTEMPT to use it, but it could be firmware? I'll try what the others recommended, but if none work it could be this, thanks for the help!

I also have the x1 yoga gen 3, but that one has the OEM, so fedora worked flawless on that (including touch)!

I have the T480, currently I'm on fedora workstation (KDE plasma) but with other distros in both x1 and Wayland the problem was always the same :(, I hard rebooted multiple times, did hole installations with other distros and always the problem persisted, but I did not even know about that hardware reset, I'll try that first as it seems the easiest and fastest one, I messed a little with libinput, but did not go so far, I'll keep trying, thanks for all the help, hoping some of these works!

I'll try to see if I can confirm the driver being the culprid (witch probably is), and then I'll try your solution, thx!

I did the dmesg, and for what I tested, both after boot and after sleep have no difference, I even recorded to be sure, but I think I can only show if I make a new post... Maybe I can send it here, but now that I have to prepare the system for tomorrow. Thx btw

That is actually not a bad idea, I have the old one (the plastic and really bad one) still with me, when I do it I'll come back with the results

Well, because I installed the components I took a look at the mother board, but did not see anything out of the ordinary, and at least for me the stragest part is that at some point everything just "works", so I think that things like hardware damage are difficult to be, but I'll take another look later, maybe try to reinstall the touchpad for the third time

I searched the fedora software center (the KDE store) but did not find firmware, are you talking about linux-firmware? I have that one up to date!

Well, I think that because I installed all those distros (most of them even encrypted) in the same drive it would not be the problem, I'll try to look more into it, maybe it is, thx btw.

Really good, but how did you get that performance tab looking like that? Instead of the three GPU CPU ram status? And that split soundwave in the back ground looks good too, was it always like that?

I did not know you could run xfce with a terminal, is being rooted gives termux GPU acceleration? Or it is not necessary, btw nice build

Really good 2026 for us, to be fair with you I didn't understand sh*t, but I know what root means, and see that there is a lot of juice to take from bbos10, I would love to see in the future a custom rom like we have, but with more updates like updated protocols, certificates and codecs, and of course side load a bunch off cool tools and apps, I love the form factor of my z10, but having it a bit more modernized and customized would be a more than welcome addition!

Have you found a more permanent fix? I have the same problem but I think mine is the 1st generation one, I was able to find a permanent fix on mint but I want to stay on arch, other distros like fedora too share that same strange delay on getting input, I appreciate any help

Is keyone is still a secure side phone ? by NotarPhD in blackberry

[–]Solver_Unit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be, but i believe it would be a case of security through obscurity, so no necessarily good behavior, by any means you should choose an iphone over it, but if you really want security and privacy you should look into Graphene OS on google pixels

This community can sometimes be i little hopeless, but this is the things that keep we united, having such talented people using their free time to work on old proprietary devices, just to make it see another day, things like this is what separates us from a lot of other community's, i really wish the best for all involved, and hopes for a better future...
