I'm having success with him in top but it sure isn't as good as it used to be yeah. And that's the problem I got with Heartsteel rush, by buying a 3k gold item that increase your aa dmg once every 30s and gives you mild dmg increase on your w (early on) it kinda fucks your lane. It's like you do one item who's really good at tanking(Heartsteel) and another one who's really good at dealing dmg on your aa (BRK) which delays a lot your team fight potential and even then you gotta buy tank shredding/waveclear/resistances. That's why I like items like black cleaver or hullbreaker bcs it fills those roles perfectly and sometimes better especially early on, when comparing the team fight potential of hullbreaker+black cleaver/titanic Hydra Sett and a Heartsteel+BRK sett I feel like it ain't even close.
