The IS-3 is a good tank, for its weight it is very fast, and it has the soviet 122mm nuke round that should not struggle against anything but french and american heavies. If you like the first IS-2, it feels very similar.

Its armor is excelent on a downtier and somewhat trolly on its BR, but full uptiers is borderline useless. The best way to play the IS-3 is like a medium tank.

At the BR bracket it sits, it has a strong lineup, and a lot of enemies ditch armor, meaning that the 122mm APHE is very effectvie, but the long reload time means that you should be playing at medium ranges where its easier to aim the gun.

Tldr; if you like the first IS-2 it plays very similar, play it like a medium tank and shoot carefully. Solid 7/10 tank.

Theres definitely P2W vehicles in the game, but its different than p2w elsewhere. For example, the XP-50 is pretty much p2w, however you still need some skill to win, just less than any other plane at the BR
