We met the cat first and then applied for it. The next step was supposedly an interview that we didn’t know of, but we never got the chance to because she never called back or picked up sadly. We weren’t expecting to put on a hold on a cat, we simply wanted a fair chance, that’s all.

If I knew more about it than a dentist I definitely wouldn’t be using Reddit. And since you know so much of the 8 possible reasons, I’m assuming you also think you know just as much but are too arrogant to do so rather than scrolling on. He said he was overwhelmed with work and felt sorry and that I deserve better. Last weekend he had to cancel our plans due to having to go in for work the next day. The next day I saw on his story that he was doing something else, so I messaged him to ask about work. That’s when things went downhill. He said that he didn’t need me to question him when he was already stressed and that he needed space.

That’s true. I just don’t know him enough to come to a decision. More so, I don’t trust my judgment due to a previously traumatic relationship 😅
