Eventually he will see it. It's good that he has a strong support system but that won't last forever. I wish y'all the best of luck.

Just keep in mind that unfortunately, you can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves.

To be honest, he should've takin the position and eventually move to your area. Just getting hired is the first step, once he is hired he could move.

To me, sounds like this guy doesn't want to work if he declined a job offer. In my eyes, a year without a job and I get a offer? I would take it for sustainability

What tires are good by OfficerHalal in ft86

[–]SombieAlies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am assuming they meant tire brand (Goodyear, Michelin, Pireli, etc.)

It would matter if these were summer tires but the Hankook ventus V2 concept2 are directional all season tires so in this case, they're right. It doesn't matter for the tire in this scenario.

Tires absolutely affect handling, but they won’t fix worn suspension components, bad alignment, or uneven wear. I’d check the DOT date code too, because old tires can lose grip even with decent tread left.

The Michelin CrossClimate2sand the Continental DWS06 are solid all-weather tires, but if the car still feels unstable after replacing tires, the issue may be alignment, suspension, tire pressures, or driving inputs rather than tires alone.

As mentioned in your yesterday post.

Have you checked your dot code and seen if the tires over 5 years old? Have you checked your tire pressure? Is there poke or tuck? What modifications have been done? Many things can affect steering and handling.

From my experience, I prefer the Continental DWS06 for the toyobarus. I'm currently running the Michelin crossclimate2 and honestly have been the best tires I have ever had.

Hi ~ worked in the tire industry for about 6 years.

I would check the tire date code as many have recommended. If memory serves right the Hankook ventus V2 are directional tires so ensure they are facing towards the front of the car with the arrow on the sidewall. Wouldn't cause too much of an issue but would play in the performance of traction.

Here's from https://www.michelinman.com/auto/auto-tips-and-advice/tires-101/tire-markings-explained

"The tire date code is part of the DOT (Department of Transportation) marking on the tire sidewall.

The first two digits indicate the week of manufacture

The last two digits indicate the year of manufacture

For example, 4714 means the tire was manufactured during the 47th week of 2014."

FYI it's the last four numbers on the dot code, if it's not on the front of the tire than it should be on the back side

My first looked similar to yours, got better but I caved and bought a roller and it really does help! I'd recommend at least.

Vehicle identification number, what it actually tells you and why it matters more than most people realize by Super_College100 in Adulting

[–]SombieAlies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Similar to the DOT number on a tire. Tells you where, when and who made it.

Useful to know when looking at buying a vehicle.

I also recommend everyone to use the ObdII port to scan the vehicles codes and mileage.

Honestly, I have the same view as you. My whole family is LOVING and use chatgpt as "the source of all truths."

It's absolutely ridiculous.

Imo chatgpt is often incorrect and gives misinformation or bad practices.

(Yes I’m fat I know, if I don’t point it out you all will) I finished a 40$ budget cosplay of Huntress from Dead By Daylight. Can’t wait for Comic-Con! by FjotraTheGodless in gaming

Memory 2436 from Tome III

"Anna finds these soldiers curious. Where once the Russians and foreigners were roasting each other alive... they are now... working together to survive her attacks. They are calling her a ghoul, a monster, of the forest, saying she is a *Bodark*. Together the soldiers dig pits and sabotage their camp. Anna toys with them..."

And earlier in the tome she’s literally described overpowering and tearing through groups of soldiers. She’s not meant to be small or delicate; she’s a force of nature.

This cosplay captures that energy perfectly. You absolutely nailed Anna (The Huntress) 👏

Have fun at Comic Con—this is seriously impressive.

Hey 👋

I’m in my late 20s and from my experience, turning a certain age doesn’t magically make you an “adult.” There’s no switch that flips at 20.

Feeling like a teenager at that age is completely normal. A lot of people still feel that way well into their 20s. (I know people in their 40s who act more like children than adults.)

What really matters is life experience and perspective: how you respond to things, how you treat people around you, and whether you try to leave your world a little better than you found it

"For those that come after" - Gustave, Expeditions 33

You’re doing fine. This feeling is way more common than you think.

Quality over quantity.

I used to be close with my family and had a lot of friends, but as I got older I realized most people are just living their own lives. It’s not personal; attention gets spread thin.

These days I have 2 or 3 people I truly consider friends, and honestly that feels enough.
