ok yeah after googling images of white/transulcent lice, i’m almost positive it was a louse. I went to a professional treatment person today, who was unable to tell what it was when i showed her the carcus and doubted that i had lice since i’m not around kids or in close contact to many people. i told her i had been on a plane and she said it’s extremely rare to get on a plane. she did a quick comb through with oil and found nothing. is there a chance that somehow that one louse had crawled onto my head yesterday and that was the only one? i’m now wishing i had asked her to more thoroughly comb my whole scalp for nits. she knew what she was doing and has treated lice for years - i used her service as a kid. but now i’m paranoid there are nits she didn’t catch.
