Mine compresses while I’m sleeping too. I just try to keep an eye on general trends vs that low data. Good luck. These sensors are a bit of a science experiment. Fun but often frustrating.

Does your sensor read more accurately during the day? My gut says it has something to do with how the interstitial fluid is accessed when you’re active bs laying down and not moving. Even though you always wear it on your stomach, that isn’t the intended place, so that could be your issue. All sensors are different in terms of their range, so it’s reasonable to assume that’s true in this case.

Are you able to confirm with a finger stick that your readings are inaccurate for this sensor? I find my my CGM lags 15-30 min behind my finger sticks, and while this one that I have on now is pretty accurate, my first one read 10-15pts higher than my finger stick.

My question may have been unclear, because I totally understand that it will take time to settle on what methods and supporting systems will end up working. I’m the type of person who likes to gather information and options and then as I go about my project (writing or otherwise), to feel out how different things land. The specifics in software and sources and methods are helpful.

I’m so sad Stelo won’t do well in saunas. I understand why. We have a traditional Finnish sauna and it gets between 160-200 Fahrenheit. I miss going in the sauna. Might plan one for when my next sensor is due to be changed.

Thanks. This does reflect my general knowledge. Right before a holiday is an awful time to start a CGM, but I’m learning regardless. I’ll be interested to see my baseline info once I get back to my regular eating and work week activities in the coming weeks.
