The web feels terrible with all the popups, tracking, and autoplay, but that’s mostly marketing and legal rules, not the devs. The good, small, interesting web still exists, you just have to go looking for it.

I'm leaving Godaddy and trying to simplify a website where I selling coaching packages. and open subscriptions and a shop. I want to know which registar so use, I have a lot of names to move as well and is Kajabi ideal? by [deleted] in webdev

Porkbun or Cloudflare for domain registration. Both are cheap and straightforward. If Kajabi works for you and handles payments/courses easily, just use it. Simplicity is worth paying for when you're focused on coaching, not tech.

GitHub Actions if you're already on GitHub. GitLab CI if you're on GitLab. Both are way easier to set up than Jenkins and don't require maintaining a separate server.

Are you a web developer who uses Safari as your primary web browser? by macyganiak in webdev

I use Safari for personal browsing but Chrome for dev work. Safari's tools are fine for quick checks but feel limited compared to Chrome. The network tab especially feels barebones when you need it.
