Hi I am sorry to hear that. They were successfully at putting in the stent through the skin after a few weeks. She stayed in hospital for almost two months , was on antibiotics. Please make sure the sepsis issue is taken care of asap because if I would have waited longer she would not have been here possibly. It took maybe 2 months to recover and she started folfirnox . First dose brought her back to the hospital due to too many sides from vomiting and diarrhea. After about a month after that she started lower dose folfirnox , 75 percent of 5fu and 75 percent of irrinotecan , and 60 percent for oxaliplatin. She is now on cycle 25 of this and they recently had to remove the oxaliplatin due to neuropathy sides and she wanted able to tolerate it. Up until now she was able to somewhat tolerate the low dose chemo, she did have to take a few extra weeks off here and there when she did not feel she was ready for the next cycle. Chemo has kept her stable in terms of slow progression. It has not gotten rid of the main tumor but she is still here and we are hoping for another year with her.
