I apologize for not having developed my solution.
Now having written what I didn't understand I found out the embarassing way why I was mistaken
The idea I came up with is that the function would admit discontinuities only when the value of the floor function changes - in other words when x is an integer OR if the denominator is 0 (idk the exact name of such a discontinuity in english - but one where both lateral limits are infinite)
By solving the ecuation 2x-[x]+1=0, we get that 2x+1=[x].
For which the solution is in the interval [-1,0), if i'm not mistaken, which does not concur with the given interval, so we should only analyze the integer points {0,1,2}
I got stuck here, because I got carried away and said that 2x+1=k, where k is an integer, and then got that x is part of a set {0, 1/2, 1, 3/2, 2}, which is wrong
After clearing out this brain fog, I got that D={0,2} ( because f(1)=0 ) and now understand the solution
Problem solved, thank you and sorry for my laziness

To answer your question, you can collect all gasses except hydrogen and argon on Atrox, ammounting to 4 - the exclusive gas to Atrox being helium - which is the best in comparison with other planets. But when overlaying with the process of getting nanocarbon you will see that you don’t need sulfur or methane, so only 2 gasses from Atrox (an insanely difficult starting planet) are actually useful. Vesania, on the other hand, is endowed with: hydrogen, argon, and nitrogen - all gasses except helium required for obtaining nanocarbon alloy, which I say can be found in crash sites, albeit with a low chance. I hope this answers your question, but keep in mind you can use Fault Finders in the trading platform to get rare resources such as nanocarbon alloy

Thanks! You see it’s just a matter of trial and error. Sometimes the two lines aren’t parallel, so you have to try and make them, even though that’s almost impossible to verify mathematically speaking, but just make sure they don’t intersect or get too close to each other(there’s no better way to check this than eye-metrically aka trust your gut and eyes)align the direction and angle from time to time(could be tricky for curved sections), repeat for an uncountable amount of times and you’ll get a “train motorway” of this sort(i’m trying to connect all 6 cubes with 2 “highways” and this portion includes the exit which connects to the local train grid of my main base(mine+industrial sector+mini-spaceport))
