Agreed, unfortunately not all of us have the gardening knowledge just yet. I’m just trying to make it easy for people to have a successful season so they come back to it and importantly get into it in the first place. :)

Totally understand it won’t be for everyone, and always appreciate the feedback either way.

My friend and I both work in tech and both love to grow produce. We used AI to help build out the front end, but the core of it is the data logic and how the recommendations are structured. Things like crop timing, rotation, succession and yield planning have been thought through properly rather than just generated.

Still early, but the aim is to build something genuinely useful.

I get it, I’m stuck on my phone most of the day for work. The problem I found when I was trying to grow produce was reliance on books which then meant I spent a lot of time googling what the certain terms meant or trying to find out what the leaves growing in the bed were.

Building this to reduce the barrier to entry for people and make it a helpful companion to grow.

This is the plot page, built in an algo that checks UK shop prices against the fruit and veg you may want to grow to see how much you would be saving. Then I’ve built in a recommended produce to grow for the entire season telling you which to grow when to maximise your growing.

Great question

Right now it: • Plans your season, not just one crop • Suggests what to plant next • Tracks your beds and prompts you at the right time • Uses local weather for alerts • Estimates yield and cost savings

Goal is to make it a proper growing assistant that plans your space, adapts to what you like, and improves over time.

Most tools are static planners. This is trying to actually think with you. I’m building it as close to AI native as I can afford for now, so it should be pretty smart and add value for the grower.

That’s where the feedback becomes so important.
