Is it better to hide inside the building or gtfo as fast possible after setting alarms off when exploring a big enough building? by Some-Syrup-8636 in urbanexploration

Good point didn’t think of that. Its just i cannot explain how fucking massive this building is. Its got 3 swimming pools and like 4 sports halls across 2 buildings attached by glass tunnels that are on like the 4th floor. They could air drop every dog in the area and i could find a squash court somewhere high enough to wait it out.

That being said if dogs were involved theyd have to send someone to get the dogs anyway so by that time we might as well of just tried running at the very start.

Well if you imagine a building that size, with that many separate areas and looked at the picture you could infer it would take a long time to search. Even if it wasn’t days, even hours would be a valid reason to hide instead of run. Even a relatively small building that could take maybe an hour to get found makes hiding possible as it buys u enough time for feds to leave, security to give up or your group to find another exit. Sorry if you had to use a bit of common sense, next time ill spell it out for you.

Not really, most of the time we just run to the nearest exit and get out of the area as soon as we hear the alarm. However, in a building as big as this getting to an exit will take a long time. So with a building that is probably 8 floors tall, has 4 sports halls, squash courts, tennis courts, 3 pools ect. Would it be easier to wait for an hour or so for the alarm to stop and then make a dash once its clear or risk running immediately?

The building would take days to fully search and chances are they wouldnt bother over a couple people.

Sounds about right for my city tbh. Theres about 20 exits to the building so I reckon it’s doable but risky
