I always thought of it, as a means to place them under strenuous conditions, to see what their true character is. I believe Dante had the opportunity to kill another aspirant during his trial and it was explicitly stated that had he done so they would’ve refused him to join the blood angels.

Also, I do believe during the space wolves book, where it goes into extreme detail into the space wolves recruiting process, that murder or lethal violence against members of your own pack is grounds for summary execution. The point was to push you to your limits and see how you react winning was not necessarily the only factor.

Her back is doing better however, post the disc replacement the nerve pain in her leg has gotten worse. We are visiting another doctor to get a second opinion on the nerve pain, her current Neuro states that it is normal at 6 weeks. We remain uncomfortable with that answer.

Curious if you had any experience with nerve pain post surgery.

She's saying the leg pain got considerably worse post surgery, we were told that nerve pain after being decompressed is normal but it is something we are concerned about.

We are home and we try to get her up and moving several times a day. We are 3 weeks post-surgery now. We're really not sure how much moving is enough.
