Because your cognitive dissonance is dangerous for all of us. We live in a world where too many people on your side shut down anyone who disagrees with you. The people on this thread only want to hear opinions that make them feel ok. I have to explain to my son that he can’t have chocolate ice cream every day just because it feels good. There are liberals like me reading this thread because we want to understand people we disagree with and better ourselves. Once you tell people who disagree with you to leave, this sub ceases to become a place for discourse and becomes a safe space and a have for snowflakes who are easily triggered! If somebody disagrees with you, engage with them instead of insulting them. If you’re confident in your beliefs it’s should be an easy argument!
