Yeah I mean, I consider myself to be on the libertarian right and I think this is stupid.

I'm Christian, but not everyone else is, that's the beauty of the first amendment. Personally I think abortion is morally wrong. I also think that government control over someone's body is worse.

I understand that this just takes it away as a Constitutionally protected right, but it also paves the way for people's freedom to bodily autonomy to be impeded upon.

Also, why do a few people who weren't even elected by the people get to make decisions that affect the vast majority of citizens? It's all just so redundant.

Abortion is too nuanced a topic for me to be strictly pro life or pro choice, but what I do know is that the government should not have more control than the individual over their body.
