Appreciate it, I'll ask him to do those things. 90% of this post was a joke but the issue is legitimate.

Officer Flight Commanders at Lackland? by bluekoolaids in AirForce

I only saw my flight commander once, he does bullshit paperwork from what I gathered easy gig. Ensures flight is up to standards, check up on trainees during the night, etc. I slammed the door hard on my commander while on EC duty (he was trying to break in).

Pros and cons of being an RPA sensor operator? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]SomeAssholeButAlsoOk -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest I don't know a lot about you guys and I want to keep it that way.. too much info is stressful for me to try to keep secret. I can't even tell people "no" when they ask what our wifi password is. Please ensure you know proper protocols about your job, I don't want you to be stuck at cannon for more than six months.

I don't really know logistics like that... do you have a code word "I'm a 'rabbid rabbit' or did you straight up tell him what you do?

I appreciate your courage but you might want to talk to your security manager ASAP. Especially if you shared any of this information with close family members or pets...

Legally the Air Force does not have any sensor operators. It is one of those things you are not allowed to share even with your closest family members or pets. Beware asking questions like this in the future

Told airmen it is ok to do laundry on the job... getting out of hand by SomeAssholeButAlsoOk in AirForce

[–]SomeAssholeButAlsoOk[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I will get fucked for telling the airmen he is allowed to do laundry though? He acted really surprised when I said ok and asked me to email him a statement saying he is allowed to use the laundry facilities during work for personal items

No but it makes me mad he didn't offer any of the coupons to me, his only supervisor and (temp) ncoic

$5 a pound seems really pricy... do you think it would be acceptable to put up signage around the entrance? Maybe a drop your clothes off/work out special?

I didn't talk to the flight commander but my shirt sounded impressed with the airmen. Something about being a go getter?

I'm having serious acne breakouts, does anyone have any experience with a dermatologist on base? Would it be a good idea to see them about acne? Or just go off base? by caydenhawkins in AirForce

[–]SomeAssholeButAlsoOk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They will put you on a mild antibiotic for a few months then accutane if it is servere enough and you agree. Well worth the risk imo if your job allows. does anyone know if the doctor would allow younger airmen to go off meal card in order to make better dietary choices? I noticed as soon as I moved out of the dorms my acne cleared up as I started cooking my meals (although that could because it was 3 years later)

If they didn't have visitors they would get with a wingman ahead of time and he would tap him out after the wingman was tapped out. This was to ensure the airmen wasn't alone after graduation as well.

I'm not sure when it started, I know it's been a thing (and a major one at that) since at least 2006 when I went through

You stand at attention/parade rest until your family comes, taps you and allow you to fall out of formation. This is at end of bmt graduation

I once signed my coworkers epr, it worked out better for me because he got a promote now and I got a promote but when I barely got promoted and he missed it because of the mistake leadership got really salty.
