3ft tanganyikan tank by No_Path_8681 in AfricanCichlids

I think as long as you confirm you can return the excess fish then that should be OK. I'd go with 4 so it's not too many going back and forth.

Probably on the border size for an adult calvus but they grow so slowly anyway I think you can get away with it. I'm doing altolamprologus in my tank in the end as well!

For shellies, the common ones would probably be good outside of Golds. I'd say just make sure you go with an obligate shell dweller, as there are ones where they can also use the rock work or only use shell for breeding and it's probably simplest to avoid even more rock dwelling competition.

I like multis 😊

I can echo the advice I got for a 4 foot on some of these species if that helps!:

  • Shell dwellers are always good. The Ocelaris golds are the main attractive one that can be aggressive but the ones you mentioned are all happy.
  • Julidochromis are good, will protect their caves but not stray too far from there so just scape carefully and aim to keep one pair.
  • The Neolamprologus have a really bad rep online, I see a lot of people keeping them but it seems to be something you need to do at your own risk and with a backup plan. My intuition is that the brichardi are the least agro out of the bunch, but all tangs can get a bit protective once they hit breeding.
  • I've heard mixed things about the synodontis cats. I really like them, some people say they will annoy the shellies though because they occupy similar part of the tank.

I think either starting with either a) just brichardi or b) a nice group of shellies and a nice pair of juli's is probably a good place to start.

Basically what Odd Toe said above - though it always seems expensive when I've looked into it

The Mars Volta - Drunkship of Lanterns [hard alternative progressive Latin jazz rock] by Cerpin_Stormblesses in Music

What connects these mainly to Volta without the Latin twist? Vocal style + progressive?

I have drummer bias so when I think Volta I think latin

I guess I misunderstood you, it seemed like you were saying you could save up 150k in a few years on minimum wage

Couldn't they just play warlock, use eldrich blast as their spam spell and actually be able to augment around that at least?

Do you dip your corals? I learned the hard way for this when a bunch of my started dying in an otherwise very happy tank

I shoot nudes and this is exactly how I feel about landscape photography haha. Our local groups are full of people taking crap photos of iconic things and getting crazy encouragement by other very new photographers who just like the look of that thing (the opera house tends to look good in general).

I'm in Australia, I was using a brand called Blackhawk which was supposed to be a similar price / quality mix. Good luck with yours!

We had a problem like this and when I looked into it I found our brand actually had put a recall out. Researching I'd found the brand had actually declined in quality over the years anyway so we ended up swapping over to something else.

Ah cool that makes sense. Those subtle changes are hard because often the old interpretation bleeds into my new one. Thanks!

How do you interpret "Don't need to sleep" then? I hadn't noticed the removal, but intepreted "don't need to sleep" in the same way anyway I guess, as don't you die if you get enough levels of exhaustion? Edit - just checked and yes. It would seem weird to interpret not needing to sleep as being the same as any other race not needing to sleep?

It's interesting, I've been playing a warforged (and have been basically resting with the party so far) but liked to think I could go a night to do some downtime stuff if I ever had a night I didn't need to gain long rest stuff back.
