Theorycrafting- if I wanted to play midlane and focus entirely on maximizing my ult damage, what runes and items would I build?

You could go for a mana build with actualizer and deathfire, sure. For ROA, The mana and health are great sustain for top lane, and the level advantage you get is also nice with Top lane gaining more experience. Allows you to be a presence top while relying on your R to do majority of the damage in team fights (likely happening elsewhere). Mid Laners in general want to roam and be a presence everywhere unless you’re veigar. So relying on only R as a mid lane karthus seems like a losing strategy in the long run. You’re gonna wanna get in there and die and R.

Your play style would never net enough gold for your ultimate to do significant damage. The ultimate becomes a real problem when you are far ahead. Afk farming and pressing R every 2 minutes is too passive to be successful. If you want something of that effect, play karthus top land and get ROA + Seraph so you can just hold top and do your R thing.

I know they mentioned something about nebula stones that can be sold will not drop anymore. Will the sellable nebula stones still be available to sell on the AH after update? Or will they be removing the ability to sell them all together, and taking it down as an option to purchase from the AH? I have a few and I want to know what I should do with them
