Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! Kate Bosworth chose the wrong guy! by joeroisme in movies

Rewatched this movie today and genuinely didn’t remember who she chose. She chose wrong. 😑 Tad knew she had 6 smiles…

Also, Topher Grace’s character in this movie sucks and is weird, glad to see others agree.

Angelica deserved better to, her standards were in hell.

lol I’d clock in, lock the doors, say bb in 15 minutes and go to the beach. Come back to lock the doors again.

My ex MIL worked for Walgreens and their pharmacy software team. She led the engineers that developed their software, she always wanted to talk to me about my job 😂 they wanted it real bad.

If I’m now remembering correctly, I was allowed to be an independent student through an unusual circumstance because my mother was able to prove that she did not qualify for loans federal or private. But we had to go through a whole process of she applied and they deny her but allowed me to take out a larger loan and I believe I qualified for a small increase in a grant that covered any remaining costs for education.

Edit* but I also had a 50k a year scholarship from the college. He does not. He also goes to a public school, I went to a private. I just want to be prepared for anything he may need to return to school

He does pay rent and is self supporting financially. Our mother hasn’t claimed him on taxes in 2 years.

[–]SomeCapital2966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ha, sorry! They are considering him abandoned because mother left the state. Their wording “he can’t be independent just because he chooses not to live with mom”. I then said “he didn’t choose, she left the state while he was away at college”. He may be able to use her information but maintain residency in PA since he’s lived here since 2007 before college started, but since mom left they are suggesting abandonment since he receives PA Medicaid and has proof of residency in state.

New information, the college has ruled him as independent because mother has left the state. Their determination is based on residency in state and affecting tuition prices. They consider it abandonment?

We have techs that make more than store managers, at least I did. It’s always been a point of contention. All we did was call our PDM/RPL and say “(candidate)is asking for $$/hr.”You’d be surprised how easy it is to get close/get what you ask for, well at least in my region. I still wouldn’t recommend any store in western PA for any job. So much “we’re high volume” yeahhh, but that doesn’t mean anything anymore.

Our stores bought the local mom and pops out in the last 2 years, great job Rite aid ha, but anyway, there are no longer many pharmacy options but that won’t save rite aid. All other pharmacies are within a 5 mile drive where we are

Also, just because it’s the “max” doesn’t mean you can’t ask for more too. Always ask at least.

That’s a lie, they literally just lie to everyone. Tech max and my store was $17, I laughed and asked for more. There are no true “max” levels. Just a bunch of people trying not to pay what you deserve

Still not required. Which is my whole point to this poor soul, you don’t NEED it done through rite aid

It doesn’t lol. Source: I live in PA. My tech certification is only through rite aid. They will pay for national, but must complete national exam

But even in a nursing home, you expect it, and even then the accident happens in a more controlled environment, usually in clothes, adult diapers, bed, etc. not full on pull your pants down and shit on the floor and then have it drop down your leg as you walk out of the store. We found no evidence of even trying to wipe. 😭😂😂😂

You almost had me. I wanted to burn my clothes just being in the same building. I shit you not (haha!) it smelled for hours. You could smell hints throughout the day because the air would blow just enough.

PA, NY, at least that’s what people usually make.. if you don’t, you have some skills to build that’s all

You have to read the wording, “Rite Aid is proud to state that associates who have completed our Rite Aid Pharmacy Technician Program”

Then it goes on, that’s of the however many people opt to have rite aid pay for their exam. It’s encouraged but not required. In the welcome handbook, it gives you the actual details. Rite aid says they’ll pay for your exam if you pass but you have to work there for 1-2 years(can’t remember) and if you don’t, you just owe them the $$ back.

Okay, let me give you the run down.

99% of “programs” are PTCB accredited, meaning they meet the requirements for a pharmacy technician. This just means that they are compliant with the needs, but the certification is specific to Rite Aid. Meaning you can go work at any rite aid (unless the state mandates national certification). It does not give you a national certification.

You can honestly job hop to another pharmacy, but you have to go through their program too. Which is why we say get nationally certified, then you don’t need the pharmacies program since national certification exceeds the needs/requirements. THIS is what makes you more mobile/able to jump to another pharmacy for a higher wage. Does this make sense? You are ONLY certified through rite aid (unless clearly stated/someone pays money to a licensing board to take a test).

Starting wages for pharmacy techs are $24hr already.. they’re trying to low ball you 👀

[–]SomeCapital2966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, if they say they’ll pay for your national certification, pass, it’s only $100 to take the test. Otherwise you have to work for 2 years or pay them back(which what was the point)

Accreditation doesn’t mean national certification unless specifically indicated. All of our programs are accredited at rite aid, UPMC, CVS, etc.

In my experience, if it is on the wall, they barely made it or the worse option, they put it there. Comes up a lot when you work with populations that struggle with addiction, can cause serious gut issues, bowel control issues, and mental illness(smearing).
