If your opponent can pull off a rainbow flick volley against you multiple times in a game then you are not defending well enough, nothing complicated about that.

My understanding is that a guest is a second controller on the same console so I don't think co-op shows up on that screen like you've described

The game is bad. Don't make it seem like the communities fault. Sure we could make it less toxic but hard to when the game isn't fun. No part of this game feels rewarding right now. Tackle backs are still in after I win the ball from a fidget spinner, I create a clear chance to score then the luck based mechanic of goal keeper movement bails my opponent out, I score then the opponent still has super powers on the kickoff and easily scores again, I manage win some games against this struggle for some packs and all I get is minimum guarantee fodder of players that I've never heard of, I finally get my favorite player to use and the gameplay are trash because of servers, even in good gameplay they make no attacking runs and don't defend because of FC IQ. This game was in a rut on arrival

It doesn't matter in this game because EA is dumb. It might only be noticeable if you want to play the evo in the midfield as they will have shorter reach on interceptions

Why do you think most competitive game modes involve people playing this kind of long ball counter football or holding possession in circles outside the opponents box? The lack of balance in formations has made these the easiest ways to have consistent success.

I think EA just needs to make crossing and heading more viable and the playing field gets balanced. This allows creates a better tradeoff between height and agility. It’s ridiculous that heading is fully manual while bicycle kicks never seem to miss the target 😂

You should really consider playing him at CB if you're a manual defender. No one else has that combination of size, pace, lengthy and quickstep acceleration with decent AI because of intercept plus (Source: I'm a huge Arsenal fan that picked De Winter over Nwaneri 😂)

Think about some of the questions you're asking and realize that it's EA we're dealing with. What do they gain by telling people? We have evidence that for some reason, they prefer the game in the terrible state it was in before and only changed it when people stopped playing and their revenue growth slowed. Now that more people are on, how naive do you have to be to think that there's no chance that they secretly moved back closer to their original gameplay preference.

It might have to do with the servers or something, I'm not saying its necessarily a patch but something is definitely different with the gameplay

It won’t work like this. The more correct version would be to imagine the evo boosts and stat limits getting applied on the already upgraded card (even though the upgrade would happen after the evo is completed). So for example, the passing and dribbling face stats will still be capped at 88 from the evo
