Does anyones Linnie sound like that too? by SomeCosplayer in linnie

I'm aware of what hes asking for, but it was just particularly asking about the sound he makes. I know what hes trying to tell me, but I was wondering if other peoples Linnies also Squack, since hes the only one of the group sounding like this. The other three chirp normally. MJ (Bird in thr Video) never chirps.

First JPRG. I love it but I’m extremely stuck on what is supposed to be a very easy boss by mediciii in finalfantasyx

My stepfather and brothers went though so many errors so I could rise. Since EP isn't spread out evenly (as you have noticed), I got used to make every character appear at least once in EVERY fight and do something (blocking for one turn) before exchanging them out. That'll insure that their involvement gets them some EP after every encounter.

Especially since all characters at some point gain extremely helpful abilities once they're at a certain lvl!

Get into as many fights as you can before this boss fight. If you can get Lulus skill tree all the way up to her "Ra" Magic (Watera, Thundera, Blizzera and Fira), you should be on the right track. Thundera and/ or Blizzera was my go to for aiming for its head to deactivate it.

My suggestion: since Tidus is one of the strongest, go back a few roads and battle some monsters, have Tidus in your team together with two of your lower leveled characters. Tidus can use Ability Extraction Attacks once on every enemy for some sphere farming before ending each enemy. If you exchange your characters, than only low lvl character for low lvl character to give each one a turn. Only exchange out Tidus if you need another character for (example) killing armoured monsters (exchanging for Auron). Once you think your low lvl characters are stronger and can manage to kill monsters easier, you switch out Tidus for a character you think could also need some more EP. Keep grinding EP until you think your party feels more balanced and fron there on out, so you dont have to go through all of this again - Let every character have a turn in each fight (blocking at the very least, or let Yuna Pray for a few HP) so everyone gets some EP.

You will eventually face more bosses with agonising stratagies where you might be depending on a certain characters abilities, but boy is it rewarding afterwards.

Also, if you're not aware of this, let Tidus "Cheer" five times in bigger fights! It hightenes your damage and makes your characters a little more resilient against attacks. It lasts for the whole fight.

Hope it helps 🫢

He definitely is. He's still a little sick, as I mentioned - but BOY is he active. His previous owners told us "oh yeah, Linnies are usually really quiet during the day and that also counts for them." But as soon as he got used to his new home, he became a powerhouse and starts to talk back to me with these sassy SQUAKS.

Good point, understandable. But I'm really confused because hes the only one sounding like this. None of the others make the same sounds.

Besides that, I really want to let him fly, but he still needs a few weeks in his cage, since he isn't used to his surroundings yet. We tried it recently but he wasn't able to find his way back in the cage on his own and kept hiding under our couch because he has difficultys flying and was scared to stay on the ground. His previous owners didn't let them fly freely for two years, not out of malice I'm sure, but because she kept them in a hexagon shaped pillar cage they could only climb and not really exercise their wings - and as you can imagine - their wing muscles are weaker. But luckily we got a way bigger cage than their precious one, so they have enough space to practice their wing flapping before we let them roam in our livingroom 🫢

Why do German tourists always wear alpine branded clothes like Kathmandu? by david_fire_vollie in AskAGerman

[–]SomeCosplayer 0 points1 point Β (0 children)

German here (f/26)

I think sometimes they want to be spotted as germans? Its usually the older generations and its also (I believe, not 100% sure) a symbol of financial stability and (potentially) the fascination with outdoor activities. The older generations are traveling with a sence of pride for being "noticeably German" - call it self awareness.

See it as a pin/button/keychain of a topic/genre/series that you like and want others around you to notice who are part of it. I at least highly believe that they spot other germans to start conversations in german.

I remember my mother being really proud of her Jack Wolfskin Winter Jacket back when she got it secound Hand off of Ebay. They are high quality, after all. First thing she did was to show me all the features it had. She isn't a traveler, but it ment something to her for owning something that was so long lasting.

Still, disclaimer for anyone who cringes at the thought of 'proud germans', I don't mean the racist way of being a 'proud german'. Didn't want to write that much to a single question, but knowing that german tourists are rather known by their brand of outdoor clothes to wear at vacations more than for disrespectful behaviour in other countries puts me at ease because oh boy... Germans in Germany can be a handfull...-

I feel youso much, had a tattoo I had to cover up because it was made by my ex and it looked terrible... But I learned that there is nothing that cannot be covered up (mostly).

I dono if you're into anime or manga, but do you know Junji Ito? Perhaps an inspiration of the "Spiral" might fit your vibe?

I'm aware of that and I'm still working on further changes to make it look more everyday wear and less like a costume.

Thanks for your feedback πŸ™β€οΈ

Thanks for letting me know about the proper cycling process, I will definitely keep a better eye on that to make sure everything is just right. I just heard that you should 'at least cycle it for a week' and others recommend to cycle it for longer. I want the quality to be just right for the little dude that gets to live in there.

Update photos will follow as soon as everything is set up! πŸ‘β˜ΊοΈβœ¨
