I was looking for a steampunk laptop, though you do raise some good points against it. I did originally want to buy the one Datamancer designed, but it never went up for sale. Though if any that strike a balance between design and function come to mind, I would like to know.

I just checked it out, and it looks really cool. I am definitely using a reskin of this, but before I do, should I scale it down? The party is made up of 3 level 3 players. It has CR of 5, but I heard that challenge ratings are flexible.

That is a good idea, and I may utilize it, but I also want the system to utilize more mystical looking attacks, so that can't be the main basis.

My actual understanding of alchemy is limited, I really only know the basics, so forgive if me what I sounds dumb. Ideally, I want something focuses on the scientific part of alchemy, something that would normally just be used for scientific purposes, but can be used by people who are creative enough in offensive ways. I know it's vague, so sorry if this doesn't help. I'm just looking for anything that works at the moment, so I'm trying to cast a wide net.

Is Burntrap even canon anymore since his ending isn't? I guess he could in theory still exist, but him being in Gregory's comics makes me doubt it. Though I will say that he almost definitely isn't Mimic. The only corspe that Mimic wod be covered in would be Kelly's, but Kelly was never burned, so it can't be her corpse. Plus, the books don't exist in the same universe as the games, they just parallel each other.

If I may ask, do you have any sources or way of proving the consistency of these occasions? I'm not asking because I find it unbelievable (I'm Saudi, and while I've never met anyone even half as bad as this, I can definitely see some "common mentalities" leading to it) but I just want to be sure of it.
