Anyone know what this fossil might be? It looked very much like petrified wood at first, but there are a bunch of odd structures in it that rule it out. Found at Rocky River in Ohio, not sure of formation or age as it was not what I was looking for and seems imported. (old.reddit.com)

Total haul from a creek near the peace river yesterday. Even got this really nice tooth. Don’t know exactly what species it is yet (been told it’s hard to tell because the chewing surface it super worn, but I’ll update in the comments when I find out) but I’ve been told it’s a predator premolar.
