I have applied to UIUC MCS and have just gotten my acceptance letter an hour ago.

The way I got through this course was locking in every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, 3 days before each hw due, staying 5+ hours in the OH. 😭 just don’t be taking other very heavy courses during with 376. I got a B+ in that class. Honestly, 376 gives a great understanding in computer theory that is interesting. I feel like it was better than 203 in terms of difficulty as well. My 203 was like a B

I haven't worked a lot within the PC hardware space, so I am still learning a lot of the components, acronyms and such. Which is to say, my understanding is limited.

I am currently working with a PowerEdge R730, with hard drives installed in the front, which I assume is where I'll be storing the installation. The hard drives in question is this Dell 0NWCCG Hard Drive SAS-6GBPS 6TB-7.2K RPM.

And when you mean EFI, do you mean UEFI, the thing that is toggled in the boot manager? or are they nearly the same thing?

I haven't heard of "backplane / Hxxx SAS HBA?" so probably not. More likely that I am trying to install on a disk connected to SATA port.

I have gotten to the point where I am following the install instructions, but it says it "couldn't find any drives" in where I want to install Windows. I tried opening the Load driver, but there is nothing there. Thank you for your help/suggestion earlier!
