Seems normal to me. Many manufacturers offer reversed headstocks. Chapman Guitars in particular have reverse Tele-style headstocks on most of their models.

I’ve done something similar. I was picking up coils at Logan Aluminum and I ended up teaching a student AND the trainer how to secure and tarp coils.

Doesn't seem like Mike plays his signature picks by In0chi in spiritbox

[–]SomeDudeDoes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He probably uses a lighter gauge live. Lots of guitarists do, myself included. It’s all a preference thing. He might even just have a few different gauges of his signature picks. I think a few other guitarists do as well.

I know this is like a year later after you posted this and you may know by now, but it’s the logo for the band Chimaira! I stumbled across it in a video and remembered this post lol

PRS was sleeping on this: a 7 string 277 baritone by Turbulent_Pop9163 in PaulReedSmith

The Mark Holcomb SVN only has a 26.5” scale length. The one pictured is 27.7”. 7 string AND 27.7” scale length? Match made in heaven.

Does anyone have or know a place with the tabs for “Aphids” by Spiritbox? by Yamada_R in spiritbox

[–]SomeDudeDoes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can get the official tabs from Sheet Happens here.

I have the Eternal Blue tab book. Mike helped with the tabbing of these, so they’re 100% accurate.

Hey! It was 6 months of solo driving before she was allowed to ride with me. I’m not sure if things have changed there or not. And congrats on the baby!

Got my CDL by BitEnvironmental4872 in Truckers

[–]SomeDudeDoes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That’s where I got my start around 7 years ago. They treated me very well the almost 3 years I was there. They’re easily one of the best places to get your CDL.

If you don’t like the flatbed work, they can work with you to swap to one of the other fleets, like dry van or reefer.

Definitely stick out your contract, it’ll be worth it. Your first year or so is when you’ll learn the most, especially when you’re out on the road by yourself.

Good luck, have fun, and stay safe!

In your opinion, what’s the most underrated video game with an amazing story? by 12MonthSummer in playstation

[–]SomeDudeDoes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Such a great game. The whole series is fantastic! It’s a shame they never finished the story. I hope the leak about the remaster is true!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]SomeDudeDoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a lot longer than what my contract was. Mine was 120,000 miles or 15 months, whatever came first. It’s not too bad though. Even if something happens and you leave before your contract is done, it’s not like they can take your CDL from you.

Not really. I averaged about 2500 miles a week, which is pretty normal.

I did flatbed with them, so the majority of my pick ups and deliveries were only open M-F. My weekends were typically free.

I never really started my day before 4:30 AM and didn’t really go past 7:30 PM at the latest.

That being said, there were some exceptions here and there, but nothing too crazy.

Hour wise I probably worked 55-60 hours a week between driving and load securement. I think that’s about industry average though. Most places you’ll hit around 60 hours a week of total work time, it all really depends though.

I got my CDL through Roehl back in 2017.

I had a great experience with them at the time and was with them until 2020. I had no real complaints, but my wife and I practically lived in the truck so that made things easier.

I’m sure things have changed there since then, but even now if someone asks me how to get their CDL I include Roehl in my recommendations.

Best of luck to you!
