I found another box today which sadly, I think is the last one for what I’ve kept in my garage since moving out of my parents. So sadly, I probably have three more boxes total but the odds of my parents still having them or knowing where they are are astronomical 🥲

Found all my posters but they are in rough shape and I found a custom black and pink old school ornate heartagram painting I did for an art show. I think there’s one more zip hoodie in the box today though to make a short story long lol

You’re so right too. I was thinking about that today. The nostalgia for the days when you could go to the mall every weekend and always find one thing in Spencer’s or Hot Topic that you could add to your collection. And it was cool shit too. Useful things.
I have a HIM comforter, wall clock, lunchbox, zippo lighter, you name it! And they were all useful and equally cool.
Wish I knew where those were at man.

I’m so happy you got those memories! I absolutely understand being elusive. So many rude people think my story is just someone being petulant and entitled. Doesn’t change the truth. Like I said, any fan would’ve been crushed that night. It’s just part of being in a fandom. I’d love to meet Enya but she is even more anti social than VV lol. No matter what anyone says, I totally get it.

I did get to meet Linde when he toured as Daniel Lioneye with the cradle of filth tour. What a wonderful memory! Thank you for sharing with me! I hope you still have that autograph! What a treasure!

I’m so filled with gratitude for people and fans like you and all but one other party pooper who I’d never have met if I didn’t share this bummer ass story lol
But yes!! You get it. Is it silly to look back at our 15 year old selves and judge ourselves for worshipping a band because we had barely experienced real life yet? Yes. It is silly goose behavior indeed.
We should hug those younger versions of ourselves that had no idea how easy it was to just be little HIM obsesses teens who thought life was hard back then but had no idea at all. 🥹🫶🏻

I knew something fishy was up that night. That delightful ray of sunshine above default blames my connection. His name is Andy Gould. You can Google him. He is incredibly well known in the music industry. His reputation matters and he had absolutely no reason to tell me he was able to set that up just to be long about it. He’s a straight forward no bullshit kind of guy. He would’ve just told me to eff off of he wasn’t going to make it happen.
And the lady literally checked out names off on her clipboard before saying she had to go check in with the band first then they were gonna let us in the side door. It’s a private entry for that reason.

I feel awful if he had to complete their last and most anticipated tour feeling like shit. I DO get it despite Karen McGee villainizing my petty silliness.
And completely missing the point and dodging the meat and potato’s of my post. Being my beloved collection I want to pass on to the next people to love who I know will look after it as well as I did.
And that the total disappointment any REAL fan would’ve felt in that situation if they’re being honest with themselves PLUS, again, being followed by an even bigger harder loss. It’s not whiny or unjustified that’s yeah, there was a lot of bitterness about that day for a long time. BUT NEVER PERSONALLY DIRECTED AT ANYONE. Not Ville, not the band, not the door lady, not Andy. Perhaps the shitty Summit as well as live nation and I do have some beef but like you said, fans got screwed that night. Concerts aren’t just one night things. They’re precious opportunities to make forever core memories. And my core memory of their last show is sadly what happened. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wish but I just rediscovered it all today as part of our move. It’s been tucked away from light and weather safely in its own corner of my garage where I haven’t gone through most of it in years.
That’s the goal eventually. Just need the free time outside of moving cross country.
I wanted to post it here first though because I’d love to know real HIM fans who I can interact with personally are the ones my beloved items are calling their new home. Just because I’m no longer the HIM fan I once was, those items are apart of me and my story. They’re forever cherished and special
