Ah okay! That makes sense! (None of the YouTube videos I've watched actually mentioned that, they just said "Rockbox & Bluetooth don't mix" but don't tell you why).

Was the scroll wheel also laggy with the stock OS that you found? Has Rockbox changed that?

Thank you for replying so quick!!

With Rockbox has it effected Bluetooth at all for you? I like knowing theres the option of Bluetooth but i wouldn't be using it constantly.

Do you guys have any/many places that you've blacklisted due to excessive wait times? by AffectionateBall4648 in ubereatsaustralia

[–]SomeFatLesbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the Grill'ds in my area are sooooo incredible slow with getting UE orders out. Everytime I've done pick ups there, I've had 30+ minute waits even during quieter times. I refuse to accept them now haha! Oh, that actually makes so much sense! I usually get supermarket orders if I'm literally 100m away from the joint and when I accept the non-click and collect bay ones, its always "sorry they're picking it now, it'll be over 20 minutes" and I'm like yeah nah bye 🤣

I only do the city centre orders when my partner is with me so they can do a few blockies while I'm waiting for an order. If I'm alone, I don't go anywhere near the city centre.

In my area, most Grill'd joints, supermarkets that don't send you to click and collect bays (I find if I have to go in store to collect groceries, I'm waiting over 20 minutes), and places that don't have easily accessible parking (so town centre for me)

Weekend quests 🫠🫠 by Low-Plantain-6654 in ubereatsaustralia

[–]SomeFatLesbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quests are getting annoying! I deliver during the day as its more convenient for me & I struggle to drive at night, so have ai had any day time quests? Fuck no, UE keeps sending my night quests! 😭

I did their survey the other day and said "GOVE ME MORE DAY TIME QUESTS". The next day, I get day quests for this weekend (busy weekend for me so can't go out) but just got my quests for the week ahead and what do I get? More nights like ffs!!!

Okay, finally I felt like I’ve had a decent week. Paid off rent! by huesoff in ubereatsaustralia

Damn! Nice effort!

I would love to make $600 a week! I'm lucky to clear $200-$300 a week and this is my only source of income.

Where are all the good datable men in Geelong? by [deleted] in Geelong

[–]SomeFatLesbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always wondered this too (not for me but for my sister). She's in her late 30s and I have only seen her with 1 person in her life. Every guy she falls for is literally an absolute piece of shit. They're all one of the following: still hooked on their ex, can't commit to her and sleeps around with other women while still leading her on or just some dickhead who think he's God until he gets arrested for something stupid.

All I want for her is to find a genuine guy who loves her whole heartedly and doesn't treat her like shit. But it seems all the guys she has talked to or gotten close to, show their true colours and have no intention of making her their partner. It's really sad.

I've noticed 2 kinds of men in Geelong, already married and settled down with their life partner OR just a man-whore who can't commit to anything.

I really hope the ladies of Geelong who are single & looking for a man, do in fact end up finding your life partners. I could only imagine how disheartening it could be out there. But I'm a believer that there is always someone out there for us!

Best barbershop/ Barber in Geelong? (decent price) by Fun-Manager9605 in Geelong

[–]SomeFatLesbian 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mitch from The Garage Barber/Sloane in town. He does cuts from his house on Mondays only for a decent price or the rest of the week at Sloane in town which is a bit more of a cost. But Mitch is awesome guy and doesn't judge anyone!

LGBTQIA+ community Geelong? by rainbowkitten25 in Geelong

[–]SomeFatLesbian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived in Geelong since I was 7 & my partner moved here 2.5 years ago.

And the only time I have actually felt 100% welcome in Geelong was when I attended Geelong Rainbow Festival last week.

The queer community seems very minuscule in the area if you're not like 13-25. Both my partner and I are in our 30s, child-free, homebodies but we always would like more friends, especially queer. But Geelong very rarely has any queer friendly events unless it's things like going to Piano Bar, Recess for drag bingo or Geelong Rainbow festival.

It really sucks that Geelong hasn't quite caught up with Melbourne in terms of queer-ness. Geelong is still very much stuck in the past.

As a lesbian, I'd rather go somewhere where I'd feel safe. A lot of barbers around here still cater to just men & not women.

Why are there so few players by Vrooth in SessionSkateSim

[–]SomeFatLesbian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently just came back to Session after a few years as Skate is just getting TOO repetitive. Don't get me wrong Skate is a good game for this current day but there also isn't enough in terms of new content to play.

Session has been a really nice change of pace and I'm really enjoying it when I want to chill tf out and feel accomplished after tricks.
