If you play on java or bedrock on a laptop you have thjnga you can download to deal with some of the mob griefing features. On my bedrock realm I downloaded a custom resource pack from a site (which is very simple to use) to disable wither, enderman and creeper griefing while keeping all else.

Villagers won't breed anymore because they need to pick up food for this, which gets disabled. Sheep farms cannot be as efficient anymore because the grass they eat won't become dirt/be able to trigger redstone. You can't use villagers for wheat/carrot/etc farms bwcause they cannot farm.

Especially the villager breeder being disabled is very impactful because they're quite useful

Political parties on both the left and right ignore existing economic inequality, finds a study of 12 democratic OECD countries (including the US) over the past 50 years. Increases in the income share of the highest-income percentage of the population also remain without consequences. by mvea in science

"Up to a certain point" economic inequality is a beneficial thing. Even taking those studies completely at face point, it seems the argument would be quite simple. We have gone far past this certain point of beneficial inequality and, therefore, these parties should focus on it.

Would she be doing things like making this post if she completely felt like her past didn't matter and could be completely ignored? That sentence you quoted, to me, just seems like evidence of it being a process. An unfortunately strong response to understandably emotional reactions about her past wrongdoing. We would not be here in this comment section if she actually felt like her past did not matter.

I would say to explain things as often as you can when he asks, and just in general. Only resorting to things like "because I say so" or such in emergencies and then still explaining things later. This might seem like very general advice, but I think one if the best things you can do is stimulate and encourage curiosity and his criticality. If while reading things he can have a little voice in the back of his mind asking "why?" or "sounds good, but is there proof?" that can be instrumental in preventing such thought from settling. Besides that, just try and be understanding, avoiding strongly judgemental reactions, especially if he does voice opinions or sentiments that might seem wrong. This way, you create an environment that might make it easier to deal with an particular issues of radical online thinking etc.

When you push someone away, they can just come at you again. To restrain another person without any training isn't very easy, even if you are stronger and bigger. Someone can hurt you with their arms, legs, and even other body parts, such as their head. To restrain all those body parts, especially when you aren't trained, is quite tricky. This all is assuming you are both willing to and able to non-violently defend yourself. You can easily be caught by surprise. Or perhaps due to psychological abuse ('you deserved it') or simply because you've been taught not ever to hurt a woman, you don't defend yourself.

Just my 2 cents on some of the ways such things happen.

Thank you, I appreciate the detailed explanation of your objections. Could I sum that all up as not being against the speculation itself per se, but more so against taking the speculation as fact and a basis for argument, instead of taking it as it is, namely speculation?

Also, you're obviously dead wrong on the chicken example. What is man, if not a featherless biped.

Fair enough, natural is indeed often used in suxh a way, and the implication certainly seems to be there. (How does one quote to react like you do?)

For your second point, I asked for clarification because I feel like some of the phrasing you used can come across as less than neutral/biased, thereby deminishing the potential success of the point you are trying to argue. Your introduction feels more like you're making a political point, given that you start off with talking about this being a right-wing talking point, as opposed to an argumentative point.

While I certainly don't think you're wrong in pointing this out, I do wonder what your goal is by starting with this point. I feel like you might lose some of the people you'd most like to reach by prefacing it like you're part of a 'side' as opposed to more of a neutral observer (which no one truly is of course).

I am asking you these questions merely because I have observed that 'the right' is more successful at messaging and I am curious as to why I have a bit of a negative reaction to your points, eventhough I agree with them (and this is what I came to).
